Our Story

Heather’s Home was born from friendship, shared adventures and a desire to keep a remarkable legacy alive.

For more than twenty years, Heather was my closest friend. Together we travelled extensively, always returning home with suitcases filled with inspiration. Whether exploring markets in Europe and Asia, discovering unique home décor in America or finding hidden treasures closer to home, we shared a love of beautiful interiors and the joy that thoughtful styling can bring to everyday life.

Heather had an extraordinary gift. She could walk into a room and instantly see its potential. Her eye for colour, texture and seasonal styling was effortless, and her home was always warm, inviting and beautifully put together. Over the years, I learned so much from her creativity, her attention to detail and her belief that a home should reflect the people who live in it.

Yet Heather’s greatest gift was not her talent for interiors.

For twenty-one years, Heather lived with breast cancer. While the disease was part of her journey, it never defined who she was. She faced every challenge with courage, humour and an unwavering determination to make the most of life. She offered hope, comfort and encouragement to countless others navigating their own cancer diagnoses, often supporting people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

Her kindness was infectious. Her positivity was uplifting. Her ability to make people feel valued was unforgettable.

Throughout her journey, Heather worked tirelessly to raise money for cancer-related charities, giving back to the organisations that supported so many families. Helping others was simply part of who she was.

When Heather passed away, I knew I wanted to find a meaningful way to honour both her memory and her passions. Heather’s Home became that opportunity.

Through carefully selected home accessories, seasonal collections and styling inspiration, we celebrate everything Heather loved. Through subtle breast cancer awareness messages, we encourage conversations that could save lives. Through charitable giving, we hope to continue supporting causes that were so important to her.
